Greetings in the name of our Lord and matchless
Savior Jesus Christ.
My
name is Dave Kurcz, Dean/Director of The Sure Foundation
Theological Institute. This is a brief note to let you
know a little bit about my story.
I
was called by God and began ministering in 1970. I
began in the field of evangelism, reaching the lost
through preaching on the streets, in churches, crusades,
and establishing many "street level" type
outreaches. Over a 15 year period, many thousands of
souls came to Christ with the help of many Christian
workers and elders. In 1977, it was exciting when we
established The Sure Foundation as a school for training
believers to establish their lives, ministries and
deal with the many encounters thereof. After years
of evangelism, I felt led to pastor while continuing to
run the school to train others to do what I had done in
the realm of 'outreach'.
I
spent many hundreds of hours studying God's Word, and
pursuing His call. I have always believed my
calling was not of man, but of God, and I did not need
to be recognized by man. By the way, this is
a Biblically correct perspective. However,
even though I believed this way, many
doors were closed because of the lack of recognition by
man. During
my entire ministry, I had ascribed to, and completed,
many collegiate courses, study programs, and other
training offered by a variety of reputable "Full
Gospel" organizations.
This
still did
not open the doors
I desired to have open. Then one day, while
praying in our church study, the Lord impressed it upon
me to pursue a Theological Degree. Though
reluctant to do so, because of costs, and my belief that
it was unnecessary, I hesitated, but the Lord strongly
confirmed to me that I was TO DO THIS.
Needless
to say, I decided
to obey, and when
I did, everything - and I mean EVERYTHING - fell into
place and I earned and obtained my Bachelor Degree in
Theology. That was my first of other subsequent
degrees.
As
a result, to my surprise, everything I began to do in my
ministry carried with it so much more authority and
credibility. There is so much more I would love to
share with you, but it would take a book.
The
point I really desire to make, is that God's
Word guarantees you will not
regret moving forward if
the Holy Spirit is speaking to you to do so!
I also want to emphasize
you WILL regret it if you look back and see that you
decided, for one reason or another, to NOT obey the
Lord.
If
God is speaking to you, I strongly encourage you to obey
Him!! Hesitate not! Take a leap of faith or the
door may close. The tendency may be, "I will
get to it" or "I will do it later".
It doesn't work that way. You may end up on
a detour and take a wrong turn that you will not be able
to undo.
Finally,
pray about it and move forward. Be strong in
the Lord and in the power of His might and He shall
bring it to pass. Remember, you
can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!
You will be strengthened
and fortified on every level when you go through the
training we offer at The Sure Foundation Theological
Institute. Be one of the many thousands of our
students, from every United States and 62 nations around the
world, that are achieving success in their lives, their
ministries, and overcoming the wiles of the devil.
Love
in Christ,
Dave L. Kurcz, ThM.
